I love NaNoWriMo – the National Novel Writing Month. Every November thousands of people logon to nanowrimo.org and join others in their quest to write a story, aiming for 50,000 words in one month.
Join me… I’ll be writing AJ and Marina’s story this year and I’m super excited. I’m a plotser – I start with a general framework, but then pants the scenes.
I enjoyed giving a pep talk at Marshall University last week called Embrace the Suck with my down and dirty guide to surviving NaNo. You want to suck your readers into your story, and let’s face it, 1700 words/day may not all be golden, in fact, some may be less than perfect – and THAT’s OKAY!
Are you going to join me in writing this November?
