The hubs and I are binge-watching Ray Donovan. Admittedly, I ugly cried through episode 4 – HORSES, because in addition to the heart-wrenching battle Abby deals with, she has her daughter and Terry, her bro-in-law who is fighting Parkinson’s, help her end her life. On a side note, the hubs snuggled me and promised to watch Hallmark Christmas Romances the next night. He lied, of course, and we watched more Ray Donovan. Honestly, this is one of my favorite shows. It’s the perfect tragedy, brilliant writing and engaging characters. I can’t say enough about the cast and their phenomenal acting making me so freaking involved in the stories.
So, although I LOVE HEAs – this is never a HEA – I have to recommend Ray Donovan, despite it’s tragic stories. And maybe, just maybe, you’ll like it too, because Ray’s family is no where as effed up as yours.
